Microsoft NGO Awards

The conference programme also includes presentations and announcement of the Microsoft NGO Awards Winners.

We want to share stories of nonprofits that have improved their services, streamlined their organization or coordinated volunteers and supporters using the Microsoft's technology. It does not matter whether you have been using the solution for one month or several years, we place emphasis on criteria such as helpfulness, degree of innovation, originality of the idea and interconnection of technologies with the organization's operations and projects. Do you educate children or elderly in IT? Have you invented innovative teamwork solution? Have you developed original web app? All of these stories can apply to the Microsoft NGO Awards.

The contest is designed for Czech and Slovak nonprofits separately and is divided into three categories - External Impact, Organizational Development and Exceptional Story. The expert jury will select several nominees from each category and 3 winners. Application submission is open from 12/2/2018 to 9/3/2018. More at www.techsoup.cz/ngoawards.
